Frequently Asked Questions
Who is John Pork?
John Pork is a fictional CGI pig-human character presented as a virtual influencer. He first appeared online in 2018, before the “John Pork is calling” meme spread in 2023; he is not a real pig-human person.
Is John Pork a real person?
No. John Pork is a fictional digital character, not a real pig-human person. JohnPork.ai provides an AI performance of the character; it is not a biography of a real person.
Why is John Pork calling me?
In the meme, an incoming-call screen makes it look as if John Pork is calling you. The joke leaves his reason unexplained so people can invent their own stories. A video or meme is not an actual phone call; on JohnPork.ai, a live AI conversation starts only when you choose to accept.
Is John Pork AI or CGI?
The original John Pork images were made with CGI and visual effects, according to the character's website. That is different from JohnPork.ai, where AI powers an interactive live video conversation inspired by the character.
Is John Pork dead?
No real death is confirmed because John Pork is a fictional CGI character. Posts saying he died—or that Tim Cheese killed him—are fan-made meme stories, not a real death report or a settled official biography.
Who is Tim Cheese?
Tim Cheese is a separate anthropomorphic mouse meme character linked by fans to later John Pork stories. Claims that Tim Cheese killed John Pork are fan lore, not real events or a verified biography.
Is the JohnPork.ai call free?
Yes. The JohnPork.ai live call is free to start and does not require an account or download.
How does the JohnPork.ai call work?
Press Accept and allow camera and microphone access. The site starts a live AI video session that processes what you show and say so the character can respond in real time; it is not a fixed prerecorded conversation.
Is the call private?
Live audio and video are processed to provide the conversation, but JohnPork.ai says it does not store the full call. A short clip is stored only when you choose “Clip that”; clip links are private or unlisted and can be deleted using the device that created them. See the privacy policy for full details.
