Talk to John Pork is a creative AI experience that lets you have real-time video conversations with a virtual character. This privacy policy explains how your data is handled when you use this service.
The short version: We don't store your personal data. Conversations are processed in real-time and not recorded by us. The one thing we do save is a clip, and only if you tap "Clip that" during a call.
No Account Required
You can use this service without creating an account or providing any personal information. We don't collect names, email addresses, or other identifying information from users.
Camera and Microphone
When you accept a call, your browser will request access to your camera and microphone. This access is used solely to enable the video conversation. We do not store, record, or transmit your video or audio data beyond what is needed for the live session.
Conversation Data
Conversations are processed in real-time through our third-party AI and video infrastructure providers. We do not store conversation transcripts or recordings on our servers.
Clips You Make
During a call you can tap "Clip that" to save the last few seconds. This is the only feature that stores a recording, and only when you ask for it. A clip shows John Pork, a small picture-in-picture of your camera, and a johnpork.ai watermark. Clips are stored on our servers so you can play and share them by link. Every clip is Private (only you, on this device) or Unlisted (anyone with the link), never listed publicly or searchable. You can delete any clip at any time, which removes the video and makes its link stop working. If you never tap "Clip that," nothing from your call is saved.
Third-Party Services
This service uses third-party providers for video and AI conversation infrastructure. These providers may have their own privacy practices. We use anonymous analytics to understand how the site is used.
Children's Privacy
This service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
